St. John Ambulance

At St. John Ambulance we have implemented a comprehensive COVID-19 plan to keep our students, instructors, and staff safe as we navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic. Our protocols are compliant with both WorkSafe BC guidelines as well as those of the Provincial Medical Officer. 

• Students will be required to complete the Covid-19 screening form prior to each class and attendance will not be permitted if you are ill or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 
• Students will be provided with the option to purchase PPE package (pocket mask, face mask, or face shield) if they have not brought their own 
• Students are to wear face masks at all times while in the St. John Ambulance Branch 
• Students are to wear gloves during classroom practices, changing after all break times  
• Students may want to sanitize their work areas upon arrival and throughout the day. Sanitizer will be available for use 
• Our lunchrooms are available for student use; however it is recommended to bring a lunch or snacks that can be eaten outdoors or in your classroom ‘station’ 
• Class times may be staggered to prevent crowding on break times 
• Physical distancing measures as well as enhanced cleaning measures have been put in place for student, instructor, and staff safety
