When the AED information that we (SJA) register strictly stays with us. We keep the information in case we need to contact the owner of the device because there is a recall on the device or any other information that the manufacturer needs us to forward to the owner. If the strata (or any other AED owners) want to let people know that they have a life-saving AED for people to use, they have to register their device themselves. They can do that with the BC PAD (Public Access to Defibrillation) program. They do not have to register their device with BC PAD if they do not want to.
16.0 Once the AED is registered at SJA, can other stratas obtain the location of that AED, and use that AED in their strata? Or is the location kept private with the client? Print
