Paramedics and licensed EMR can get their OFA 3 certificate by going to a branch and complete an application for certification.  The paramedic or EMR must provide the branch a valid license issued in British Columbia.

The branch will contact the BC Ministry of Health Licensing Branch to verify that the license is still valid and the paramedic/EMR is in good standing.  This process may take a couple of days.  The paramedic will pay a fee ($100) and complete an out-of-jurisdiction package.

Once the Licensing Branch confirms that the paramedic/EMR is in good standing, the branch will contact the individual and issue an OFA 3 certificate.
