The fully automatic version of the G5 works exactly as the semi-automatic version. The only difference is that if a shock is required for the casualty, the fully automatic will inform the rescuers that "Shock Required". It will then countdown, "Shocking in 3 - 2 - 1"; and automatically shock after "1".
